Here is one of my first paintings. I used a black-white old photo from this town, Figeac, France. The painting was accepted in several 'juried art shows', but never sold. I'm kind of glad it remains in my possession. I actually stood under that very same arch many years ago. However, the background small house is gone, and now a new apartment building takes its place.
Some day, I'll return this painting to France and hope it finds its final resting place with the people who love it. Au revoir for now.
